Discuss your school’s requirementsYes. 3Sigma is designed around the assignments, tests and mark schemes teachers already use. Rather than re-authoring assessment content in a new system, the assessment is structured for marking so that results can be captured at question level and carried through into student, assignment and class analysis.
Teachers do. 3Sigma can auto-grade multiple-choice and other objectively scored questions, while assisting with responses that require professional judgement. Teachers remain in control of reviewing and confirming marks before results are used for analysis.
That flexibility is a core part of the design. 3Sigma is built to accommodate different subjects, curricula, exam boards and marking structures rather than forcing every assessment into the same template. The exact workflow will vary by assessment, but the platform is designed to adapt to how schools already assess and to sit alongside the systems they already use.
No. 3Sigma is designed to work with different forms of assessment evidence, not just conventional tests and exams. That can include question-level scores, criteria, rubrics, and competency or proficiency scales, which may be particularly relevant for younger learners or subjects where performance is not best represented by a single numerical score.
The platform accommodates different ways of evaluating learning rather than forcing every subject, age group or assessment model into the same format.
No. Assessment data is central to 3Sigma, but it is not the whole picture. Our wider direction includes other forms of classroom evidence, such as patterns of student participation and interaction during lessons.
Over time, the aim is to bring these different sources of evidence together so teachers can build a richer picture of learning and progress, rather than relying on any single measure in isolation.
